some faq

-
where am I located?
I am currently in austin, texas, usa - working remotely. but if you'd like to hire me, i am open to relocate to anywhere in the usa. relocation assistance wouldn't be required but would be happy if provided. I can work remotely or in office or hybrid too. not a problem - very flexible.

when can I start if hired?
I can start immediately. maybe a week will be required to find a new place if I am moving to a different region. but work wise - pretty quick to start.

what is my visa status?
I am currently on f1 opt visa which allows me to work for 3 more years on the same visa. later on I might be able to extend if necessary. so, yes, I am looking for sponsorship to work on h1b visa in the future if provided. no sponsorship? well, should be able to work 3 years without it.

what are my salary expectations and role type?
higher, the better, sure. but flexible and open to negotiate. can talk better on call depending on the role and location. full-time, part-time, contract - doesn't matter. open to it all.

how many years of experience?
as of 2025, I have 3 years of working experience in different roles. that includes 1.5 years of work in the usa and the rest in india. I have worked as a freelancer for clients as well as an employee at companies. that wide range of exposure has taught me to be adaptable to the requirements of any project.

what is my process?
the classic - 1. research and gather requirements, 2. create basic outline of the idea initially, 3. build on that to make the meat of the project, 4. iterate and repeat the steps until requirements are met and client is happy.
no matter what tools are used - I can adapt easily since I am familiar with the basics. for example - I had no idea how to use figma and had to collaborate with other designers who were using it - cut to 1 hour of a tutorial, I was making a dashboard on figma.
